राजविद्या राजगुह्यं पवित्रमिदमुत्तमम्।
This is the king of knowledge, the king of secrets, the supreme purifier, directly experienced, righ

अश्रद्दधानाः पुरुषा धर्मस्यास्य परन्तप।
O Parantapa, those without faith in this Dharma return without attaining Me, along the path of death

मया ततमिदं सर्वं जगदव्यक्तमूर्तिना।
By Me, all this world is pervaded in My unmanifest form

न च मत्स्थानि भूतानि पश्य मे योगमैश्वरम्।
Nor do beings dwell in Me

यथाऽऽकाशस्थितो नित्यं वायुः सर्वत्रगो महान्।
Just as the mighty wind, moving everywhere, always rests in space, so know that all beings rest in M

सर्वभूतानि कौन्तेय प्रकृतिं यान्ति मामिकाम्।
O son of Kunti, all beings enter My Nature at the end of a cycle; I project them forth again at the

प्रकृतिं स्वामवष्टभ्य विसृजामि पुनः पुनः।
Controlling My own nature, I send forth again and again this entire multitude of beings, powerless u

न च मां तानि कर्माणि निबध्नन्ति धनञ्जय।
O Dhananjaya, those actions do not bind Me, as I remain indifferent and unattached to them

मयाऽध्यक्षेण प्रकृतिः सूयते सचराचरम्।
Under My supervision, Nature creates the moving and unmoving world

अवजानन्ति मां मूढा मानुषीं तनुमाश्रितम्।
Fools disregard Me, clad in human form, not knowing My supreme nature as the great Lord of all being

मोघाशा मोघकर्माणो मोघज्ञाना विचेतसः।
Those with vain hopes, vain actions, and vain knowledge, who are senseless, take refuge in the delud

महात्मानस्तु मां पार्थ दैवीं प्रकृतिमाश्रिताः…
O Partha, the great souls, taking refuge in the divine nature, worship Me with single-mindedness, kn

सततं कीर्तयन्तो मां यतन्तश्च दृढव्रताः।
Always glorifying Me, striving with firm vows, and bowing in devotion, the ever-yoked worship Me

ज्ञानयज्ञेन चाप्यन्ये यजन्तो मामुपासते।
Others also worship Me through the sacrifice of knowledge, as One, as distinct, or as manifold with

अहं क्रतुरहं यज्ञः स्वधाऽहमहमौषधम्।
I am the ritual, I am the sacrifice, I am the offering, I am the medicinal herb, I am the mantra, I

पिताऽहमस्य जगतो माता धाता पितामहः।
I am the father of this world, the mother, the sustainer, and the grandfather; the knowable, the pur

गतिर्भर्ता प्रभुः साक्षी निवासः शरणं सुहृत्।
I am the goal, the supporter, the Lord, the witness, the abode, the shelter, the friend, the origin,

तपाम्यहमहं वर्षं निगृह्णाम्युत्सृजामि च।
O Arjuna, I give heat, I withhold and pour down rain; I am the nectar and also death, existence and

त्रैविद्या मां सोमपाः पूतपापा
Those who know the three Vedas, drink Soma, are purified of sins, worship Me with sacrifices, and se

ते तं भुक्त्वा स्वर्गलोकं विशालं
Having enjoyed the vast heavenly world, they enter the mortal world when their merit is exhausted

अनन्याश्चिन्तयन्तो मां ये जनाः पर्युपासते।
For those who worship Me alone, thinking of no other, ever united to Me, I carry what they lack and

येऽप्यन्यदेवता भक्ता यजन्ते श्रद्धयाऽन्विताः।
Even those who, being devoted to other deities and endowed with faith, worship them, they also, O so

अहं हि सर्वयज्ञानां भोक्ता च प्रभुरेव च।
I am indeed the enjoyer and Lord of all sacrifices; but they do not know Me in truth, therefore they

यान्ति देवव्रता देवान् पितृ़न्यान्ति पितृव्रत…
